Steve Winwood was born in the Handsworth area of Birmingham in 1948. By the age of ten he was a multi-instrumentalist and a full time musician by the age of 15. Winwood formed the band Traffic and they released their debut album Mr Fantasy in 1967. Winwood also connected with Eric Clapton, releasing just the one album together in 1969. Traffic continued to release albums from 1970 through to 1974 when the band broke up.

His self-titled solo album was released in 1977, albeit in a very different musical landscape and progressively became stronger in his sound; His Arc Of A Diver album connected in the US becoming a platinum selling album driven on by the While You See A Chance single. Winwood returned with the Back In The High Life album which sold over 3 million copies and featured his first US number one single Higher Love (featuring Chaka Khan on vocals too), winning a host of awards and accolades.

Followed up by the Roll With It album, both the Album and the eponymously titled title track were a Number 1 success. In 1988 he was nominated 3 times at the Grammys for Roll With It for Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year and also Best Pop Vocal Performance.

Robson has had a stellar 20 plus year career of continually delivering the hits for successive generations of pop stars and artists. A classically trained multi-instrumentalist from the northeast of England, Robson’s skills have accumulated over a dozen chart topping songs and delivered close to 40 Number one albums.

Robson started his run of success at the turn of the century, delivering a UK Number 1 single for Westlife with Queen Of My Heart, quickly crossing the Atlantic in 2002 to deliver Rascal Flatts their first US Number 1 single with These Days. Extensive work then followed with UK based pop punk band Busted and this resulted in the next UK Number 1 single with You Said No.

Double chart-topping success again arrived for Robson with his songs for Rascal Flatt’s What Hurts The Most and My Wish. These were taken from the bands 4th album, which also went to Number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, it became the highest US debut of 2006 and by far the best-selling country album of 2006.

Also in 2006, Robson wrote the song Shine with Take That, the second single from the band’s comeback album Beautiful World. The song reached Number 1 on the chart, staying there for two weeks and went on to win the British Single of the Year award at the Brits.

By 2008, Robson was involved with writing for some of the TV talent show stars and delivered Leona Lewis a UK Number 1 single with Run, before also delivering a succession of songs for UK artist James Blunt, topped off in 2010 by the next UK Number 1 single Everybody Hurts, the single release by Helping Haiti.

Robson’s next key partnership began with Olly Murs, a run of writing and production that produced three UK Number 1 singles including Dance With Me Tonight and Troublemaker (feat. Flo Rida), Both of these songs received Ivor Novello nominations. He undertook the bulk of the songwriting with Murs on his albums and has helped Murs now sell over 10 million albums worldwide.

Johnson began his music making career working as an in-demand engineer for artists such as Pitbull, Rick Ross and Puff Daddy. He created the Monsters & Strangerz songwriting and production team in 2008 and moved to LA in 2011.

Exceptional song writing in the pop lane has resulted in huge smashes for the likes of Camilla Cabello, Jason Derulo, Halsey, Ellie Goulding, Zara Larsson, Liam Payne and Katy Perry. He’s also worked extensively with Maroon 5, contributing to enormous hits such as Memories, where sales are now in excess of one billion streams.

Johnson has received 2 nominations for Record Of The Year and Song of The Year for Zedd’s The Middle in 2018. Further to this he has now received an additional two nominations for his work with Dua Lipa for Album of the Year and for Best Pop Vocal Album of the year with Future Nostalgia.

Starrah was raised in Delaware on the mid Atlantic coast, the youngest of nine siblings. She arrived at a rocket-like pace into the top tier of the US song writing fraternity. Starting out focused in the style of artists such as Kid Ink, Travis Scott and Young Thug, she migrated to a more mainstream pop sound.

Inspired by writers like Ester Dean, Starrah exists in a world of the next generation of female operators. Add to this her ability to rap as well as sing, her knack for a catchy chorus and the combination ensures that she joined the top ranks of singer-songwriters.

Starrah has already secured several Number 1 US single successes including Camila Cabello’s Havana, which also topped the charts in the UK; Maroon 5’s Girl Like You which topped the the US chart for 7 weeks and made Number 1 in 10 other countries; Girl Like You (feat. Cardi B) has been streamed in excess of a billion streams on Spotify alone. This song also received a nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 61st Grammy Awards.

Other very notable successes have been achieved with Drake, Kevin Gates, Calvin Harris, Diplo and especially Nicki Minaj on the song No Frauds with Drake and Lil Wayne.

There doesn’t appear to be a contemporary lane of music or artist where Starrah cannot add serious value to the songwriting experience.

Sonny Moore began his music career as the front man in post hardcore band ‘From First To Last’. By 2008 he totally shifted the sonic palette of the dancefloor when he began to operate as Skrillex and delivered genre busting remixes of Bad Romance for Lady Gaga and Sensual Seduction for Snoop Dogg. In 2010 he delivered his first EP My Name Is Skrillex. His second EP Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites won 2 Grammy’s in 2011 for Best Dance Recording and Best Dance Album. In 2012 he had 3 further wins for Best Dance Recording and Best Dance Album for Bangarang, and Best Remixed Recording for Promises.

By 2015 he was collaborating with Diplo on the award-winning Jack Ü project including  Where Are Ü Now (with Justin Bieber). Enormous commercial success continued with Justin Bieber’s Sorry which he both wrote and produced, and was a transatlantic Number 1 song. Further Grammy nominations occurred for Album of the Year for Justin Bieber’s Purpose and Best Song Written for Visual Media with Purple Lambourghini for Rick Ross in 2016, which he created for Suicide Squad.
