Pusha T is a hip-hop pioneer, a hip hop leader, and a hip hop adventurer, he is ‘Hip Hop’.

In the early 90s he established the group The Clipse with his brother Gene. The combination of the brothers, alongside the production team of the Neptunes featuring Pharrell Williams made for an incredibly exciting proposition and their debut single Grindin’, released in May 2002 set the benchmark for what was to come. Re-named Pusha T, he made several guest appearances and despite some label politics pursued their Clipse career, with Neptunes production again and released their second album in November 2006. Signing to Kanye West’s GOOD Music label in September 2010, Pusha T featured on Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album on the hit track Runaway.

Grammy nominations have been received for Pusha T’s single Mercy in two categories, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song in 2012, and then also for his 2018 album Daytona in the Best Rap Album category in 2018 featuring the hit track If You Know You Know.

The decade from 2010 – 2020 has seen Pusha T involved in a series of features and album and mixtape releases that have shown him to be at the top of his game. His releases have pushed the whole scene forwards and features the who’s who of the hip hop fraternity, and his lyrics, flow and music making has added enormous value to other hip hop artists work too.

Growing up in Atlanta, Jason Boyd, better known by his stage name Poo Bear, has worked with the full who’s who of the US RnB fraternity. Starting out with hot Atlanta act 112, for whom he wrote the Grammy nominated single Peaches & Cream. His next big move was his work for Usher’s Caught Up, which was a single from the artist’s 10 million selling Confessions album. A trip to Las Vegas in 2013 allowed for Poo Bear’s friend Lil Twist to introduce him to Justin Bieber and this started a hugely successful creative relationship which gave birth to some of the biggest songs over the last decade. The album Purpose was released in 2015, reaching Number 1 in the US and also in 17 other countries. Nine out of the 13 songs were written by Poo Bear and two of the key singles from the album, the now billion streaming (On Spotify along) What Do You Mean and Company were written by Poo Bear.

Another song by Poo Bear to receive a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording was the Where Are Ü Now (with Justin Bieber) single from Jack Ü, Skrill, Diplo and Justin Bieber.

Poo Bear was involved with the remix version of Luis Fonsi’s Despacito. Released in April 2017, this single became the first video to reach the milestones of three, four, five, six and seven billion views. The song reached Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, staying there for 16 consecutive weeks. It topped the charts in 47 different countries, including the UK, and across Europe. It was the best-selling and most streamed single in 2017 in the US, making it top 10 in the best-selling songs of the 2010’s. In 2018 ,this remix version received 3 Grammy nominations for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Pop Performance of the year.

Barry is a multi-instrumentalist who was born in Edinburgh. Key successes include writing 5 songs on Cher’s multi-platinum album Believe released in 1998 which includes the enormous single of the same name. For this song Barry received 3 Ivor Novello awards ‘Best Song Musically & Lyrically’,’ Best Selling British Single’ and ‘International Hit Of The Year’ in 1999.

His work with Enrique Iglesias also managed to produce the most spectacular chart success. He achieved two US number singles with the tracks Bailamos and Be With You, and then a further UK Number 1 with the career defining song Hero.

More recently he helped deliver Let It Go for James Bay which was a key record in helping James break as a global act and has been streamerd over one billion times on Spotify alone.

Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Brown is one third of the Atlanta based production team of Organised Noize. This outfit created hits for acts such as Outkast, Goodie Mob and TLC. He wrote the song Waterfalls for TLC which was the third single from the bands second album ‘Crazy Sexy Cool’ in May 1995. Often referred to as the group’s signature song this record became a major international hit and spent seven weeks at Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song earnt two Grammy nominations for Record Of The Year and Best Pop Performance with Vocal at the 1996 awards. Culturally, it was one of the first big hit records to refer to the Aids virus in its lyrics.

Brown was also involved in creation of the song Don’t Let Go by En Vogue, a song made for the Set It Off soundtrack. The song reached Number 2 on the Hot 100 (only losing out to Toni Braxton’s Unbreak My Heart) and was the group’s biggest international single, making it into the top 10 in several countries.

Brown features on vocals, alongside Big Boi on the Beyoncé track Hip Hop Star from her 2003 album Dangerously In Love. In the same year, Brown wrote and his vocals feature on two tracks Bowtie and The Way You Move on the Outkast album Speakerbox/The Love Below.
