Sonny Moore began his music career as the front man in post hardcore band ‘From First To Last’. By 2008 he totally shifted the sonic palette of the dancefloor when he began to operate as Skrillex and delivered genre busting remixes of Bad Romance for Lady Gaga and Sensual Seduction for Snoop Dogg. In 2010 he delivered his first EP My Name Is Skrillex. His second EP Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites won 2 Grammy’s in 2011 for Best Dance Recording and Best Dance Album. In 2012 he had 3 further wins for Best Dance Recording and Best Dance Album for Bangarang, and Best Remixed Recording for Promises.

By 2015 he was collaborating with Diplo on the award-winning Jack Ü project including  Where Are Ü Now (with Justin Bieber). Enormous commercial success continued with Justin Bieber’s Sorry which he both wrote and produced, and was a transatlantic Number 1 song. Further Grammy nominations occurred for Album of the Year for Justin Bieber’s Purpose and Best Song Written for Visual Media with Purple Lambourghini for Rick Ross in 2016, which he created for Suicide Squad.
