Pusha T is a hip-hop pioneer, a hip hop leader, and a hip hop adventurer, he is ‘Hip Hop’.

In the early 90s he established the group The Clipse with his brother Gene. The combination of the brothers, alongside the production team of the Neptunes featuring Pharrell Williams made for an incredibly exciting proposition and their debut single Grindin’, released in May 2002 set the benchmark for what was to come. Re-named Pusha T, he made several guest appearances and despite some label politics pursued their Clipse career, with Neptunes production again and released their second album in November 2006. Signing to Kanye West’s GOOD Music label in September 2010, Pusha T featured on Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album on the hit track Runaway.

Grammy nominations have been received for Pusha T’s single Mercy in two categories, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song in 2012, and then also for his 2018 album Daytona in the Best Rap Album category in 2018 featuring the hit track If You Know You Know.

The decade from 2010 – 2020 has seen Pusha T involved in a series of features and album and mixtape releases that have shown him to be at the top of his game. His releases have pushed the whole scene forwards and features the who’s who of the hip hop fraternity, and his lyrics, flow and music making has added enormous value to other hip hop artists work too.
