Greg Wells established himself as top tier songwriter and producer since the mid 90’s, creating material for a broad spectrum of artists from Aerosmith, to Celine Dion to MIKA and One Republic.
In 2017, he produced the album for Michael Gracey’s The Greatest Showman movie. The album topped the charts in the US, in Australia, Japan and the UK. The soundtrack topped the iTunes chart in over 77 countries.
The album gathered pace and ended up being the best-selling album in both the UK and the US in 2018. It became the longest-running soundtrack at Number 1 in the UK for over 50 years. The album has now sold in excess of 7 million copies.
The key single This Is Me was nominated for Best Original Song at the 90th Academy Awards and won Best Original Song – Motion Picture at the Golden Globes. The album also won the Grammy for ‘Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media’.
