Broady was born in Tennessee and became an original member of the Hitmen, a squad of producers that Puff Daddy utilised to turn out hits for the Bad Boy Label in the 1990s. In 2001, he received 4 Grammy nominations for his work with India.Arie. He was nominated for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best R&B Song for the track Video as well as being for Album Of The Year for Acoustic Soul. Broady has created tracks for a whole selection of artists from the late Notorious BIG, to Three Six Mafia, Kanye West and 2Chainz.
