ARI LEVINE

Whilst running his Levcon Studios in Los Angeles, Levine was introduced by his friend Phillip Lawrence to Bruno Mars. Levine’s studio facilities combined with his knowledge of music creation and electronic technology meant that he was a perfect accomplice for the other duo’s skillsets. In 2009, this trio of characters, calling themselves The Smeezingtons worked around the clock creating music for a range of primarily pop R&B acts (Flo Rida, Wiz Khalifa, Lupe Fiasco, Mike Posner) and UK pop acts like the Sugababes, who gave the writers their first major international hit. Two sporting theme songs followed: Matisyahu One Day for the 2010 Winter Olympics, and Knaan Wavin Flag the Coca Cola song for the 2010 Football World Cup. Hits for B.o.B, Cee Lo Green, Snoop Dogg quickly followed alongside them also channeling serious energy into Bruno Mars solo output. Songs for Bruno, such as Grenade and Just The Way You Are helped catapult Ari into the spotlight, achieving Number 1 US chart success and nominations in 5 categories at the 2011 Grammy Awards. From here the songs and albums continued into Bruno’s solo releases creating an exceptional and enormous run of global success.
