Chris Cornell operated and dominated the rock landscape since the inception of his first band Soundgarden in 1984. Cornell’s baritone voice and 4 octave range added enormous value to this band and also to his other outfits Audioslave, Temple Of The Dog and his own powerful solo material. Originally inspired by Little Richard and the Beatles, Soundgarden existed alongside Nirvana, Alice In Chains, and Pearl Jam – Cornell is considered one of the key figures in the 1990’s grunge movement. He sold 15 million albums and was nominated for 16 Grammy’s, ultimately winning 3. He received a Golden Globe nomination for his song The Keeper which appeared in the 2011 Machine Gun Preacher and he co-wrote and performed You Know My Name, the theme song to the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Pretenders, Chrissie Hynde is a legend unto herself. Inspired by the likes of the Slits and Siouxsie Sioux, Chrissie became the unapologetic front woman and founder of the Pretenders, and with her intelligence, energy and drive made pure punk tunes that bridged the gap between rock and roll and the New Wave. With her unmistakable voice, Chrissie would lead the band from strength to strength with songs like Brass in Pocket, I’ll Stand by You and Hymn To Her.

From Dylan, to Bono, to Morrissey, to Iggy Pop, to Johnny Marr and to Jeff Beck, Chrissie has left an undeniable mark on the tonal landscape. From the opening chords of The Pretender’s 1980 debut, through the highs of the 1980’s with successive major hits, through incarnations with the Black Keys, and into her own solo material and beyond, this is a forward-thinking icon, social activist, and musician who will forever be revered.

Karlsson started out as his professional songwriting career under the alias of Bloodshy alongside his partner Pontus Winnberg, known as Avant.  They achieved their first success on Christina Milian’s debut album in 2001 and very quickly moved onto creating songs for pop acts like the Sugababes and legendary UK MC Ms Dynamite.  A defining moment of this era of Karlsson’s work was writing and producing Toxic for Britney Spears in 2005, which went on to win the Grammy for Best Dance Recording in 2005.

Karlsson then established the Miike Snow project in 2007, bringing alongside him US vocalist Andrew Wyatt and they released their debut album in 2009.  The band have also fully embraced remix culture both for themselves and for other artists.

Next, Karlsson began the Galantis project in 2013 with Linus Eklow using a remote studio in the Baltic Sea as their inspiration, releasing their first single Smile in November 2013. The group enjoyed especially good success with the single Runaway (U & I), which was nominated for Best Dance Recordings at the Grammys.  The debut Galantis album was released on the 8 June 2015.

Perri ticked many boxes as a waitress working in LA in the hope of finding success as a musician and performer. Fortuitously, Perri managed to place one of her piano ballads called Jar Of Hearts in the TV show “So You Think You Can Dance”. The reaction to the song was exceptional and it very quickly led to Perri fully releasing the song and signing her recording contract with Atlantic Records. Her debut album Lovestrong was released in May 2011 which enjoyed a platinum level of success.

She also then composed the song A Thousand Years as the love theme for the film “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn”, which went on to sell over 9 million copies. Her follow up album head or heart in 2014 included the song be my forever (feat. Ed Sheeran) Sheeran as well as the lead track human which again performed exceptionally well.

British born Mcvie’s piano skills attracted the attention of Peter Green from Fleetwood Mac and she contributed to that band’s Mr Wonderful album. By 1970 she had joined Fleetwood Mac full time and from there she ultimately played an enormous role in the extraordinary global success of this band, with her fully heartfelt songs of love and relationships which took the world by storm.

Songs such as Over My Head and Say You Love Me written by Mcvie propelled the band forward. By 1976 , the band released their Rumours album which became one of the best-selling albums of all time. Mcvie’s contributions were the exceptional Don’t Stop, You Make Loving Fun and the beautiful ballad Songbird. The subsequent album Tusk, released in 1979, includes Mcvie’s  key song Think About Me and the band again toured this album heavily.  The band reconvened with the Mirage album which went to the top of the US charts. Mcvie’s songs such as Hold Me helped drive the album, inspired by her relationship with the Beach Boy Brian Wilson.

Mcvie is a singer, songwriter, keyboardist and vocalist of the very highest standard who has delivered some of the most potent and commercially successful songs of the last 50 years.
