Sum 41 are a Canadian rock band who arrived on the scene in 1996, being managed and produced by Greg Nori, with Dave Baksh as lead guitarist. Goofy stage antics combined with a ferocious live presence mixed with hip hop poses and major rock riffs ensured a sizeable level of success was achieved. The band were known to perform more than 300 times a year.

The 2001 album All Killer, No Filler featured the monster MTV driven, modern rock radio hits Fat Lip and In Too Deep. This album was certified platinum on both sides of the Atlantic. The band moved into darker and heavier times with their 2002 album Does This Look Infected with the big pop punk songs again The Hell Song and Still Waiting.
